I apologize for the motion sickness, but she just wouldn't keep still! She has a tendency to lean into her shoulder when she smiles or laughs.
Believe it or not, she does have hair, although I started to make her bald! My babies always get scaly patches on their heads, so I was using olive oil (don't waste your money on the special shampoo--it stinks and is a waste of time) to try to comb it out, but I noticed little furry pieces--her hair!
Now, check out my haul from the Kid Stuff Sale in S. Indiana. I went on 1/2 price day and almost all my purchases were marked down 50%. I bought all of this, two shirts and two books for my older girls, leggings for under their school uniforms, a musical soft book (no, I didn't realize it was musical--I honestly have learned from my older two girls and probably would not have bought it), and (drum roll...) a small, extremely loud Elmo. I say this while chuckling. You see, Lovely's original Elmo disappeared mysteriously years ago after S stated over and over again how much he despised that doll. I didn't realize this Elmo was stuffed in the bag between the soft book and a plastic photo album, but Laea smiles at it when it talks to her!
In short, I spent about $40 for eight outfits, two onesies, two pairs of pants, a sweater, the stuff listed above, and numerous infant toys--most good name brands. Yes, I will be attending the Louisville sale as well--on the new mother early entry day :) It's 3x the size of this sale! Yes, I have been attending these sales for 8.5 yrs now!
Below is the Valentine's Day craft I made with Snugglebug's class. They had a blast! We also made spinners that allowed their Valentines (family members) to win a prize, such as a hug, chocolate, or washed dishes (mom's loved those!).
A lady from S's work sent this present home the other day. Each hair decoration says one of the following: Big Sister, Middle Sister, and Lil' Sister. So cute!
Lastly, I had a girls night out with my BFF (ok, BF for the last...19 yrs!) this week. We went to the Dragon King's Daughter's new location in S. Indiana. The food was delicious, but they don't have a happy hour yet, so no 1/2 price sushi, and I love Sushi and the Banshees! Also, the restaurant doesn't have the same eclectic feel--no bottles of water on the table, all tables are in the same open space. Perhaps they'll grow into their own after a bit, though. I'll be back, once Happy Hour is initiated!
